France/SNAAF: "Football has evolved in terms of taking mental health into account" (Lola Pierrès)

"Generally speaking, football has evolved in terms of taking mental health into account. Employers are aware that they have to offer a healthy environment where people can flourish. It's not always easy when you see the arrival of investors, sporting difficulties, financial difficulties and so on. This creates a climate of anxiety and stress that not everyone is capable of coping with. So we need to prevent psycho-social risks to working conditions," Lola Pierrès, general delegate of the Syndicat National des Administratifs et Assimilés du Football (SNAAF), told News Tank Football on 08/09/2023.

SNAAF represents "all football-related professions other than those of players and coaches on a principal basis", and its scope of action covers both professional football (employees of clubs and the Ligue de Football Professionnel) and amateur football (employees of regional leagues, districts and the Fédération Française de Football).
