Formula 1: Xbox (video games, Microsoft), official partner of BWT Alpine F1 Team from 2023

Xbox, a subsidiary of Microsoft Gaming, the video games arm of the eponymous American company, has become the "official console partner" of the BWT Alpine F1 Team from 2023 and for several seasons, announced the team on 18/09/2023. This is Xbox's first partnership in Formula 1.

The American group will display its logo and that of "PC Game Pass", its online subscription service to a catalogue of video games, on the single-seaters of French drivers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon "at selected key races during the season", starting with the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, run from 22 to 24/09/2023. Parent company Microsoft has also been a technical partner of the team for several seasons.

Xbox, which becomes a third-level sponsor of the BWT Alpine F1 Team, is thus strengthening its sponsorship portfolio in sport. In football, the American group is a partner of the The Football Association (The FA, since 2021) and the Fédération Française de Football (FFF, since 2022). Xbox is also a sponsor of basketball in the United States with the NBA and the WNBA, as well as several franchises.
