The Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) - Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) game (2-0) on Matchday 1 of the group stage of the 2023-24 Champions League (Group F), drew an average of 2.18 million viewers with a peak of 2.6 million on the pay-TV channels Canal+ and Canal+ Foot (1.95 million and 230,000 viewers respectively), on Tuesday 19/09/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie.

This figure represented an audience share of 10.3% on Canal+. This is the "best audience in two years for a Champions League group stage match," according to the group. The game was also broadcast live on the pay-TV channel RMC Sport 1, the audience for which was not communicated.

During the 2022-23 season, PSG's first Champions League match versus Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) (2-1) drew an average of 1.73 million viewers on Canal+, on Tuesday 06/09/2022 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to Médiamétrie (audience share: 8.6%).
