Women's tennis: Perform will produce and distribute the WTA TV rights for €422 million in 2017-2026

Perform Group, a British company specialising in the production of sports content on digital platforms, extended its agreement for the production and distribution of the media rights to the WTA (Women's Tennis Association) until 2026, on 09/12/2014.

Perform Group, which currently manages the TV rights of the WTA tournaments over the 2013-2016 period, will pay to the Women's Tennis Association a minimum amount of $525m (€422.4m) over the 2017-2026 period. This includes every season, "$33m (€26.6m) for TV rights and $19.5m (€15.7m) for investment in production," says Stacey Allaster, chairwomand and CEO of the WTA, to American media on 09/12/2014. Perform pays $17m (€13.7m) for TV rights to the WTA each season during the 2013-2016 cycle.
