Rugby/IRFU: Vodafone (telecoms) extends as Ireland's main jersey sponsor (2024-2028)

Vodafone Ireland, the Irish subsidiary of the British telecommunications operator, has extended its partnership with the Irish Rugby Football Union for an additional four seasons from 01/07/2024 to 30/06/2028, announced the IRFU on 20/09/2023.

This extension is valued at a total of £20m (€23.1m), or £5m (€5.8m) per season, compared with €4m in 2023-24, according to the British media.

Vodafone thus remains the main jersey sponsor of the Irish men's XV, a space the brand has occupied since 2016-17. This partnership has also been extended to the senior women's team, with the Vodafone logo now appearing on the back of the jerseys, while AON (insurance) remains the main jersey sponsor of the women's team.
