Olympique de Marseille: Foot Unis condemns threats against members of the board

Foot Unis "lends its support to the members of the management board of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) who are denouncing a climate of tension and threats created against them by a few groups of supporters" and "strongly condemns such acts, which have no place in our sport or in society," said the union of French professional club presidents on 21/09/2023.

The four members of the OM management board - Pablo Longoria (president), Javier Ribalta (director of football), Pedro Iriondo (CEO) and Stéphane Tessier (deputy CEO for finance and investment) - have decided to begin a period of reflection regarding their future at the club, the day after a meeting at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus training centre during which representatives from several supporters' groups contesting their management (transfers, training, women's team, etc.) called for their resignation in an atmosphere considered hostile.
