Ligue 1: EA Sports renews partnership with AS Monaco until the end of the season 2014-15

The video game publisher EA Sports renewed its partnership with AS Monaco (Ligue 1) until the end of the 2014-15 season, the club announced on 15/12/2014. The two parties have been linked since the 2013-14 season.

EA Sports has also extended its agreements with LOSC Lille, the Girondins Bordeaux, Olympique Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) until 2016-17 in October 2014. Digital activations will be in place to allow fans to win tickets to the matches of AS Monaco, but also to follow the news of the club through the content from the FIFA 15 game.

  • Custom game jackets in the colours of the partner clubs are available for FIFA 15.

3.4 million unique players were registered worldwide in the first week of FIFA 15 marketing, indicated EA Sports on 30/10/2014.

On average, the number of players who play FIFA 15 online is up 50% compared with FIFA 14. Sales of the 2015 edition could be close to the franchise record: FIFA 13 sold 15 million copies worldwide (all consoles).
