Skweek: OTT platform available in the UK & Spain from September 2023

Fedcom Media, a subsidiary of the company specialised in the sale of raw materials (sulphur, fertilisers, cereals), has launched its Skweek OTT platform in the UK and Spain in September 2023.

Skweek does not currently hold any media rights in these territories, but describes itself as a content platform. Skweek "aims to transform the basketball content consumption experience in the country, offering a diverse range of exclusive original content and setting a new standard for basketball enthusiasts," explained the streaming platform.

One of the main pieces of content broadcast by Skweek in these territories is the weekly "Skweek show by Tony Parker", presented by the former French San Antonio Spurs (NBA) player. Every week, the chairman of LDLC ASVEL (Betclic Élite) welcomes "his friends to discuss basketball and sport, as well as cinema, music and social issues". The programme is broadcast free of charge every Friday at 18:00 on Skweek.
