Tennis: ATP launches a match data analysis platform for players

The Association of Tennis Professionals and Tennis Data Innovations (TDI), a joint venture created in 2020 by the ATP and ATP Media, the company responsible for marketing the ATP's media rights, unveiled Tennis IQ, a data analysis platform dedicated to players taking part in ATP competitions, on 25/09/2023.

The platform, developed in conjunction with London-based TennisViz (data), aims to "democratise access to data" for ATP players, providing them with historical match data, real-time interactive court graphics and "detailed information on upcoming opponents". The platform's "live in-game capabilities are also set to add a fascinating new dimension to off-court coaching, first introduced across the ATP Tour in 2022, which enables coaches to interact with their players during matches," added the body, which is rolling out this platform on mobile and desktop.
