France Télévisions: Dakar Rally will no longer be broadcast by the group after 2025 (press)

The French public broadcaster France Télévisions will no longer be broadcasting the Dakar Rally from the 2026 edition, according to the French daily Le Parisien on 22/09/2023. France Télévisions holds the rights to broadcast the race until 2025.

The Dakar Rally was not included in the recent agreement between France Télévisions and Amaury Sport Organisation, the company that organises the race, according to Le Parisien. The group extended its broadcasting rights for competitions organised by ASO for the 2026-2030 cycle on 23/07/2023. These competitions include the Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift, Flèche Wallonne (men's and women's), Liège-Bastogne-Liège (men's and women's), Tro Bro Léon, Critérium du Dauphiné, Tour de France, Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Paris-Tours and the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris.
