TotalEnergies AFCON 2023: Tecno Mobile (technology, CHN), 2^nd sponsor of the competition

Tecno Mobile, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has become an official sponsor of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2023, to be held in the Ivory Coast from 13/01 to 11/02/2024, announced the Confederation of African Football on 21/09/2023.

The Chinese company has the status of official sponsor, the second level in the competition's sponsorship hierarchy, alongside Cypriot sports betting operator 1XBet. "There are discussions underway with several global companies that are very keen to sponsor and partner with CAF for the exciting CAF competitions including the very popular Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)," said Patrice Motsepe, president of CAF.

In addition to its two official sponsors, the AFCON has a title sponsor: the French hydrocarbon producer and supplier TotalEnergies, which is committed to the 2017-2024 cycle.
