Germany: ARD & ZDF broadcasters of the women's (until 2027) & men's (2028) national teams

The German broadcasting groups ARD and ZDF have acquired the rights to broadcast the German women's national team until 2027 and the men's national team until 2028 (excluding European Championships and World Cups) in Germany, announced the two groups on 25/09/2023.

The two groups will co-broadcast all of the women's national team matches: friendlies, the Women's Nations League and qualifiers for Euro 2025 (organised in Switzerland) and the Women's World Cup 2027 (not yet awarded as of 26/09/2023).

ARD and ZDF will share 30 men's national team matches until 2028: friendlies, the Nations League and qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and Euro 2028 (unallocated). This new agreement has been made official belatedly, as some of the matches included in the deal have already been broadcast since the beginning of 2023. It should be noted that the German free-TV channel RTL acquired the broadcasting rights in Germany for the first half of the German national team's matches over the 2022-2028 cycle on 03/05/2022.
