UEFA: 48^th Ordinary Congress to be held in Paris (FRA) instead of Madrid (ESP) on 08/02/2024

The UEFA executive committee has decided to move the 48^th Ordinary UEFA Congress (which brings together the 55 member associations) from Madrid (ESP) to Paris (FRA) on 08/02/2024. "The 2024-25 UEFA Nations League group stage draw will also be moved to the French capital city on the same day," announced UEFA following an executive committee meeting in Limassol (CYP) on 26/09/2023.

"Hosting the governing body that brings together the 55 nations of European football is an honour and a privilege for the FFF and the entire French football family. It is a mark of confidence and recognition for our body, our sport, its representatives and its players. This choice once again illustrates our country's ability to make the most of its assets, its capacity to organise, its appeal and its influence. This decision reinforces France's attractiveness as a sporting nation in 2024, the Olympic year," said Philippe Diallo, president of the Fédération française and member of the UEFA executive committee.
