English Football League: extended deals with Puma (until 2026-27) & Football Manager (for 2023-24)

The German equipment manufacturer Puma has extended its role as "official supporter" (3^rd level) and supplier of footballs for English Football League competitions for an additional three seasons (2024-2027), announced the governing body on 26/09/2023.

The two parties joined forces for the 2021-22 season. Since then, "Puma has delivered 10,000 FIFA-approved International-standard match balls each season to the EFL and EFL clubs," according to the organisation in charge of the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One and Sky Bet League Two. In addition, the German brand is directly involved with 10 clubs in the three divisions under the aegis of the EFL.

The club management video game Football Manager (SEGA Sammy) has also extended as an "official supporter" of the EFL for the 2023-24 season, announced the EFL the same day. Under the agreement, "all EFL clubs and competitions will continue to appear as fully licensed entities in Sports Interactive’s next release, Football Manager 2024," added the body, which has worked with the Japanese publisher since 2014.
