Udinese Calcio: back shirt sponsor Bluenergy obtains stadium naming rights for 2024-2027

Bluenergy, an Italian natural gas and electricity supplier, has extended its partnership with Udinese Calcio (Serie A TIM), for which it is already a back shirt sponsor (2017-2024), and has acquired the naming rights for the Stadio Friuli (25,132 capacity) for five years (2023-2028), announced the club on 27/09/2023. Under the terms of the agreement, the stadium, located in Udine (ITA), will be known as the Bluenergy Stadium.

The Italian group succeeds Dacia, a Romanian car brand belonging to the Renault Group, which terminated its sponsorship contract with the club on 23/06/2023. Dacia had been Udinese's main shirt sponsor since the 2009-10 season, and had held the naming rights to the 'Dacia Arena' since its inauguration in 2016-17. The agreement was worth an estimated €2.5m per season.
