DFB: FAST channel "DFB Play TV" to be launched in several markets shortly

The Deutscher Fussball Bund will "soon" be launching its FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channel "DFB Play TV" to broadcast competitions in several markets, announced the German Football Association on 26/09/2023.

The channel will offer live and on-demand content from the men's and women's German Football Cups (DFB-Pokal), the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, the German Under 21, Under 20 and Under 19 teams, as well as home matches of the German women's national team and 3.Liga matches.

"DFB Play TV will complement the already available OTT offer 'DFB Play', which is available internationally. Selected live and on-demand content will also be made available via the DFB's YouTube channel and various social media platforms," explained the governing body.
