FC Barcelona: record revenues of €1.259bn in 2022-23 (+23.8% vs 2021-22) & a net profit of €304m

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) posted record revenues of €1.259bn (including transfers) for the 2022-23 financial year (01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), up 23.8% on 2021-22 (€1.017bn), announced the club on 28/09/2023. Barça posted operating expenses of €1.165bn, resulting in a net profit of €304m (compared with €98m in 2021-22).

"The club has made improvements in all lines of business, recording figures higher than expected in each of them. On a commercial level, with revenue of €351m (+43% compared to the previous year), the club has obtained all-time record figures. The sponsorship area practically reached €200m (nearly half of which was thanks to the signing of 20 new agreements) and sales at Barça Stores amounted to €100m, also an absolute record," explained the Catalan club, who are not, however, releasing precise details of the 2022-23 version of operating income and expenses, pending approval of the annual accounts by the next general assembly of delegate members.
