Golf: a record 7 global partners for the 44^th Ryder Cup in Rome from 29/09 to 01/10/2023

A record seven global partners are supporting the Ryder Cup 2023, organised jointly by the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe (including the European Tour) at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome (Italy) from 29/09 to 01/10/2023. Seven worldwide suppliers, 10 official suppliers and eight team suppliers complete the event's sponsorship portfolio.

AON (insurance, GBR), BMW (car manufacturer, USA), Capgemini (IT services, FRA), Hilton (hotels, USA), Rolex (watchmaker, SUI), DP World (logistics, UAE) and Citi (banking, USA) are the partners committed to this bi-annual international golf competition that pits the 12 best American golfers against the 12 best European golfers. These partners each pay between $7m and $10m (€6.6m to €9.4m) in prize money for each edition of the Ryder Cup, according to the American media on 28/09/2023.

This record number of partners reflects a change in the sponsorship strategy adopted by the organisers, who in previous editions have tended to rely on the involvement of brands present in the territory where the event is held: at the Ryder Cup 2018…
