AC Milan: urban project linked to potential future stadium presented to the suburb of San Donato

AC Milan (Serie A TIM) has presented the town council of San Donato Milanese, a town to the south of Milan (Lombardy, ITA), with an urban development proposal as part of its plans for a new 70, 000-capacity stadium in the San Francesco area, announced the club on 27/09/2023.

This presentation is a prerequisite for the development of a definitive plan for the club, whose plans to build a joint stadium with FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) in the San Siro district were definitively abandoned during 2023 (see timeline below).

"The objective of the proposal is to generate significant value for the area, which would then benefit from a sustainable and integrated development, thanks to a series of upgrade works.
