Netherlands: Viaplay (streaming service) to distribute the OTT platform F1 TV Pro in 2024

Viaplay has signed an agreement with Formula One Group for the distribution of the premium OTT platform F1 TV Pro on the Viaplay streaming service in the Netherlands for the 2024 season, announced the Swedish audiovisual group on 29/09/2023. Access to F1 TV Pro will be included in the Viaplay subscription.

"Next season, Viaplay will continue to show all Formula 1 races live with Dutch commentary, along with every qualifying session and free practice, and to offer extensive studio programming, documentaries and highlights. Through F1 TV Pro, Viaplay viewers will be able to enjoy additional features such as international commentary, multiple onboard cameras, pitlane and paddock feeds, in-race radio communications and more," explained Viaplay.

Dutch driver Max Verstappen (Oracle Red Bull Racing), the 2021 and 2022 Formula 1 World Drivers' Champion, has been Viaplay's ambassador in all the territories in which the group is present since 2022. "Viaplay's Formula 1 coverage in the Netherlands is in its second season and attracts a broad audience," added the group.
