UEFA: minimum standards framework to be implemented for women's national teams in Europe

• A head coach holding a UEFA Pro License (or equivalent qualification).
• At least one team doctor and two physiotherapists present at all matches and training sessions.
• Travel using the most direct routes.
• High-quality accommodation close to training or match venues.
• International windows used wherever possible.
• Access to national training facilities, with elite equipment and professionally maintained pitches.
• A contract between the federation and the players covering pay, pregnancy, maternity and anti-discrimination.

These are the minimum standards that UEFA is asking the national member associations to set for the women's national teams in Europe on 02/10/2023 (document available to download), by allocating €22m to achieve them (see below).
