RC Strasbourg Alsace: an initiative to combat breast cancer on 06/10/2023 as part of Pink October

RC Strasbourg Alsace (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and the Femmes de Foot association, which is in charge of the club's CSR policy, have organised a number of actions in aid of Pink October, a campaign to combat breast cancer, during the match versus FC Nantes at the Stade de la Meinau (Matchday 8 of the 2023-24 season) on Friday 06/10/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), announced the club on 05/10/2023.

To mark the occasion, "Racing's players will take to the pitch wearing a zip-up jacket bearing the slogan 'From the strength of passion comes the strength of action', and will then warm up wearing a t-shirt bearing the same slogan as a tribute to all those who fight breast cancer on a daily basis," explained the Alsatian club.

Profits from the sale of these products (in Racing's official shops and online shop) will be donated to the fight against breast cancer, while for every ticket sold, the club will donate one euro to the Femmes de Foot association. The match will also be kicked off by Dr Albert Moussaron, a researcher, and Dr Khalid Alghamdi, a surgeon.
