2034 World Cup: "The time is right for Saudi Arabia to host the FIFA World Cup" (SAFF)

"We believe the time is right for Saudi Arabia to host the FIFA World Cup. Our bid is driven by a love for the game and a desire to see it grow in every corner of the world. Saudi Arabia officially announced its intention to bid to host the 2034 World Cup just moments after the publication of the FIFA Council's decision to award the 2030 event to six countries from three different confederations. While the bulk of the 48-team competition will take place in Spain, Portugal (UEFA) and Morocco (CAF), three matches have also been scheduled in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay (CONMEBOL).
