LFP: call for tenders for the international media rights to Ligue 1 & Ligue 2 (2024-2029 cycle)

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has launched the call for tenders for the international media rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Ligue 2 BKT and the Trophée des Champions for the 2024-2029 cycle, announced the French league on 06/10/2023.

"Bidders are invited to submit offers for global, regional or country-specific rights over three and five seasons. This consultation is open to broadcasters and agencies. The document will be sent on request by email to the following address: mediarights@lfpmedia.fr. The deadline for submission of offers is 15:00 CET on 02/11/2023," said the LFP.

The international rights to Ligue 1 are currently held by the Qatari pay-TV group beIN MEDIA GROUP for the 2018-2024 cycle, for a minimum average amount of €80m per season (with a split planned in the event of higher revenues). beIN broadcasts the championship in the United States, Canada, Turkey, 23 countries in the MENA zone and Asia-Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and East Timor).
