Think Sport 2023: "The new audience is younger & more technically adept" (G. Pons, Eurosport France)

"The new audience is much younger and more technically adept. The linear Eurosport viewer is just over 50 years old, and mainly male. The thing to do is to find the right balance between satisfying a traditional audience by taking it a little bit digital, and transforming the digital audience of a free website into a TV audience too," said Géraldine Pons, director of sports at the pay-TV group Eurosport France (Warner Bros. Discovery), during Think Sport 2023, an event organised by News Tank at the Maison du Handball in Créteil (Val-de-Marne, FRA), on 03/10/2023.
