UEFA: Euro 2028 to be held in the United Kingdom & Ireland, Euro 2032 in Italy & Turkey

"The hosts for Euro 2028 are the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The hosts for Euro 2032 are Italy and Turkey," announced Aleksander Ceferin, president of UEFA (the organising body), without opening any envelopes, in Nyon (SUI) on 10/10/2023, shortly after midday (CET). Each of these two bids were the sole candidates in the running.

• "The football associations of England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales submitted a joint bid to stage UEFA Euro 2028.
• The Italian and Turkish football associations, which started as individual bidders, decided to join forces and submitted a joint bid to stage Euro 2032," said the European Confederation before the executive committee meeting on Tuesday 10/10/2023.

The next European Championship finals will be held in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024.

• UEFA announced that it would simultaneously award the hosting of the 2028 and 2032 editions of its major competition between national teams on 16/12/2021.
