"The hosts for Euro 2028 are the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The hosts for Euro 2032 are Italy and Turkey," announced Aleksander Ceferin, president of UEFA (the organising body), without opening any envelopes, in Nyon (SUI) on 10/10/2023, shortly after midday (CET). Each of these two bids were the sole candidates in the running.
