CONMEBOL: Puma sponsor & ball supplier for all competitions for 3 years (2024-2026)

German equipment manufacturer Puma has become an official partner of CONMEBOL for "all club and national team matches" organised by the body, announced the latter on 11/10/2023. The agreement will run for three years (2024-2026).

As part of the agreement, the German brand will "be sponsoring key tournaments across Latin America that will include the CONMEBOL Copa América, CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana. Puma will also supply the official match footballs, referee uniforms and staff kits. Sports such as futsal, beach soccer and female categories, pre-Olympic and youth categories will also have sports equipment produced by Puma," explained the two parties.

Puma succeeds American brand Nike, which is supplying balls for CONMEBOL competitions until the end of 2023. The German equipment manufacturer also signed a similar agreement with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on 10/10/2023: it will supply balls and referee kits for several official competitions, including the TotalEnergies AFCON 2023 in the Ivory Coast (from 13/01 to 11/02/2024).
