DFL/SPOBIS: call for submissions for the 2024 Sustainability in Sport Awards

Submissions for the "2024 Sustainability in Sport Awards", which will be presented at SPOBIS (a sports business event) in Hamburg (Germany) on 31/01/2024, are open until 03/11/2023, announced the DFL, co-creator of these awards, on 11/10/2023.

"The award recognises projects that have a significant impact on the three pillars of sustainable development: the economy, ecology and social issues. Four categories will be rewarded: athletes, venues and events, clubs and associations, and companies," explained the German football league.

Sports projects launched or completed from January 2023 in the DACH region are eligible. Once submissions have been received, a shortlist of three finalists per category will be made before an "independent external jury selects the winners."
