Saudi Women's Premier League: DAZN acquires global broadcasting rights (excluding MENA) from 2023-24

DAZN has acquired the international broadcasting rights, excluding the MENA zone, to the Saudi Women's Premier League (Saudi women's D1) from the 2023-24 season, announced the OTT sports platform on 13/10/2023.

DAZN will broadcast at least two games per matchday during the 2023-24 season. "DAZN has already committed to showcasing the best of Saudi Arabian football with its significant coverage of the men’s Roshn Saudi League. This new agreement further supports DAZN's commitment to football in the Kingdom, while also helping promote the women’s game around the world to new and existing audiences," explained the platform.

The OTT platform holds the media rights to three games per Roshn Saudi League matchday for the 2023-2025 cycle in the UK and Ireland, the DACH region, Belgium and Canada. In particular, DAZN will be broadcasting all matches involving Al-Nassr FC (the club where Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo plays).
