World Leagues Forum: three labor committees launched as part of the agreement with FIFPro

As part of the "Global Labour Agreement" linking FIFPro to the World Leagues Forum since 26/09/2023, the two bodies are launching three committees on "health and fair-play pitch management, combating discriminatory incidents in football matches and workplace security," announced the WLF at its annual meeting in Warsaw (POL) on 13/10/2023. The initiative is aimed at "strengthening and protecting national leagues and playing conditions."

"The committees will be composed of both league and player union experts to examine each of the topics and make recommendations on future developments," added the association that represents 44 football leagues around the world, which says it has also launched a "WLF study group to analyse the landscape and consequences of multi-club ownership."
