Formula 1: American Express (USA), regional partner for the American continent from 2023

American Express, an American financial services company, has become a regional partner of Formula One Group on the American continent as part of a "multi-year" agreement from the 2023 season, announced the two parties on 16/10/2023. The agreement covers six Grands Prix on the calendar: three in the United States (Austin, Las Vegas, Miami), one in Canada (Montreal), one in Brazil (Sao Paulo) and one in Mexico (Mexico City).

As part of the agreement, the American company has the status of "official payments partner" of F1 at these six races. In addition, "American Express is also proud to support the F1 Academy, F1's all-female racing series committed to creating equal opportunities for women in the sport, as it strives to increase opportunities for female participation in motorsport, both on and off track," explained the company.
