F1: several athletes including J. Mata, A. Joshua & T.A. Arnold become BWT Alpine F1 Team investors

"Alpine and Otro Capital have welcomed some of the world's biggest sports stars as new strategic investors into their investment fund, including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs, NFL), Rory McIlroy (golf), and Anthony Joshua (boxing)" as well as footballers Juan Mata (Vissel Kobe) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool FC), announced Formula One Group on 17/10/2023.

Renault Group and its subsidiary Alpine welcomed Otro Capital, RedBird Capital Partners and Maximum Effort Investments (led by Canadian-American actor Ryan Reynolds) into the capital of Alpine Racing Ltd (the entity in charge of the activities of the BWT Alpine F1 Team) as part of a 24% stake acquisition via a €200m investment on 26/06/2023. The deal valued the French team at around €900m.
