Germany: a record 53,609 spectators on Matchday 4 of the 2023-24 Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga

The six games on Matchday 4 of the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga 2023-24 (13-16/10/2023) posted a record total attendance of 53,609, according to the Deutscher Fussball Bund on 18/10/2023. The previous record, set on Matchday 18 of the 2022-23 season, stood at 43,687.

For the first time on a single league matchday, three clubs (out of six playing at home) hosted their women's team in their main stadium:
• 21,508 supporters (a club record) were present at the Weserstadion for SV Werder Bremen - FC Köln (2-0)
• 19,000 spectators went to the Allianz Arena to watch FC Bayern Munich - Eintracht Frankfurt (0-0)
• 10,269 fans (also a club record) occupied the Red Bull Arena during RB Leipzig - VfL Wolfsburg (0-2).

However, the attendance record for a match in the German women's league, set on 23/04/2023 with 38,365 spectators during the FC Köln - Eintracht Frankfurt (0-2) match, has not been broken.

After four matchdays, the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga 2023-24 welcomed a total of 111,601 spectators for an average of 4,650 fans per match, a significant increase compared to the 2022-23…
