Belgium/Formula 1: RTBF renews its full broadcasting rights until 2027

The French-speaking public broadcaster RTBF (Radio-Télévision Belge Francophone) has extended its rights to broadcast the entire Formula 1 World Championship in Belgium until 2027, announced Formula One Group on 18/10/2023.

"French speaking fans in Belgium will be able to tune into RTBF for full coverage of all practice and qualifying sessions, F1 Sprint events and Grands Prix across all race weekends on its Tipik and Auvio channels, with select races also available to watch on La Une throughout the season," explained Formula One Group.

The rights to broadcast Formula 1 in Belgium are also held by the Belgian private broadcasting group Telenet (Dutch language) until the end of the 2024 season. This agreement comes following Formula One Group's extension of its agreement with the Belgian Grand Prix, which will be on the calendar up to and including the 2025 season, on 13/10/2023.
