Cádiz CF: presentation of the "Sportech City" project estimated at €370m

Cádiz CF (LALIGA EA Sports) has presented its "sports and technology city" project, named Sportech City and located to the east of Cádiz (Andalusia, ESP), on 18/10/2023. The project is part of the LALIGA Impulso plan.

Sportech City is an urban development project estimated to cost €370m according to the Spanish press. It includes:
• the construction of a convention centre "capable of hosting events and shows 365 days a year"
• a multidisciplinary building for the technology, sports and health sectors (35,300 m2)
• a 7,500 m2 data centre
• a startup incubator and coworking space
• a research centre dedicated to user experience
• a sports university

"This is a very ambitious project that aims to transform the province of Cádiz, offering multifunctional spaces to focus on developing the economy. Its construction will generate 4,000 jobs, and it will maintain 2,900 once completed.
