Euro 2024: free access to public transport for 36 hours for ticket holders

UEFA has signed an agreement with the VDV (Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen, the association of German public transport companies) to offer free access for 36 hours to ticket holders for Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany (from 14/06 to 14/07/2024), announced the European confederation on 19/10/2023.

Each ticket holder will be entitled to a travel card valid for 36 hours, from 06:00 CET on the day of the match until 18:00 CET the following day. This agreement will be valid for transport in the ten host cities of the competition: Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.

"VDV expects around 70% of stadium attendees to use public transport when travelling to and from the stadium," added UEFA. How supporters will receive their travel pass will be communicated "ahead of the tournament."
