The Player LENS (Loan Exchange Network System) database, a system to help manage the loans of players on the transfer market, will be available English football clubs from 01/01/2015. Designed in partnership with Opta, the data provider and statistics agency, this collaborative loan network allows both players and clubs to offer and ask for players on loan. Player LENS, which lists the data of all the players in the Barclays Premier League (first division), Championship (second division), League One (third division), League Two (fourth division) and the U-21 League is available only in England at the moment, but will soon also be launched in France, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain.

“Client confidentiality is vital. The Player LENS database is protected by secure log in, data integrity and AES encryption." stated Lee Hemmings, the co-managing director of the Player LENS. “The Player LENS system was designed with the club in mind and saves recruitment professionals both time and money,” stated Jordan Mornington, Player LENS co-Managing Director on 17/12/2014.
