LALIGA EA Sports: a strategic partnership between FC Barcelona and PortAventura World (ESP)

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) have entered into a strategic partnership with the PortAventura World theme park (Vila-Seca, Catalonia, ESP) in order "to build synergies and generate new emotions to help both parties to reach new global audiences," announced the club on 19/10/2023.

The agreement is to "combine the history and impact of FC Barcelona, its special relationship with the city and its universal outlook, with PortAventura World's prestige and knowledge in the development of theme parks," added Barça.

The partnership will focus on two areas:
• "to study possible entertainment experiences at the future Espai Barça. These would complement the future museum, and other commercial and leisure attractions when activity resumes at Spotify Camp Nou in November 2024 ;
• to create a working group that will study projects on an international scale, such as the opening of specific entertainment areas (different themed attractions, catering services and merchandising outlets, mostly in indoor spaces) and large-scale theme parks (over 7 Ha) under the FC Barcelona brand, with attractions…
