FFF/Social Commitment Plan: dedicated department, strategic committee and a €6m investment

⚽️ To combat gender-based and sexual violence, homophobia, racism and all forms of violence and discrimination;
⚽️ To promote citizenship, diversity and inclusion through football;
⚽️ To adapt to climate change.

These are the three main focuses of the French Football Federation's "Social Commitment Plan", presented by its president Philippe Diallo on 19/10/2023. This federal plan, "whose objectives and actions will be implemented over three to five years," will involve an additional investment of €6m and a dedicated department comprising around ten employees.

This new governance also includes the creation of a strategic committee "bringing together elected representatives, qualified outside parties and employees, whose role will be to steer and evaluate the policies implemented," as well as a certification procedure for the implemented policies commissioned from an independent body and the involvement of ambassadors to conduct awareness-raising campaigns.
