Sportel Monaco 2023: “AI will affect our operators all around the world” (Javier Tebas, LALIGA)

"Using AI is going to affect our operators all around the world. We are currently working with AI to translate interviews. It allows use to translate them from Spanish to other language such English or Arabic within a few minutes. We are using this to improve the experience for our spectators. The idea is to give this possibility to fans. Obviously, it cannot be done live, but we are able to do so for live videos within 10 minutes, to make them available in languages that our spectators need. I hope that by the end of January 2024, we will officially be able to do this," declared Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA, at Sportel Monaco 2023, on 24/10/2023.
