Olympique Lyonnais buses attacked in Marseille: "A new step towards the worst was taken" (OL)

If in the past, attacks of this type had already taken place, which Olympique Lyonnais has always regretted, this Sunday, 29/10/2023, a new step towards the worst was taken," said the French club late in the evening after the first-team coach had several of its windows shattered by projectiles thrown by Olympique de Marseille supporters at the vehicle as it slowed down in Marseille on its way to the stadium, injuring several people, including OL coach Fabio Grosso.

"During the crisis unit meeting following the incidents that occurred outside the Stade Velodrome on the route of its bus, Olympique Lyonnais made known its opposition to taking part in the match given the circumstances.
