LFP: over 100 candidates for 2024-2029 international media rights to Ligue 1 & Ligue 2

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has received bids from more than "a hundred agencies and broadcasters" for the international media rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Ligue 2 BKT and the Trophée des Champions for the 2024-2029 cycle, announced the body on 02/11/2023. The tender was launched on Friday 06/10/2023.

"LFP Media has received numerous bids for one or more territories. A period of analysis is now beginning to enable LFP Media's teams to identify the best opportunities and prepare the appropriate follow-up to the marketing process. LFP Media will then be able to decide whether to award the rights in certain territories, initiate discussions or launch new consultation phases targeting specific regions," explained the body.

Candidates had the opportunity to submit bids for global, regional or country-specific rights, for three and five seasons.
