American pay-TV groups ESPN (The Walt Disney Company) and Turner (Warner Bros. Discovery) extended their NBA broadcasting rights in the United States for $24bn (€22.6bn) over the 2016-2025 cycle, on 06/10/2014. Over the 2016-2025 cycle, the NBA's annual domestic TV rights will amount to $2.67bn (€2.52bn), almost triple the annual amount received during the 2008-2016 cycle ($930m, €877m).

The NBA is looking to multiply its domestic broadcasting rights by more than three for the next rights cycle (2025-2034), with a target of $75bn (€70.6bn), or $9.375bn (€8.83bn) per season, according to American media.
