LOSC Lille: "I'm testing myself" - a campaign for the prevention & screening of cancer in men

LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) is launching an awareness-raising campaign devoted to men's health and in particular to the prevention and screening of cancer in men (testicles and prostate in particular) as part of "Movember" by teaming up with the Lille University Hospital and textile manufacturer Lemahieu to create boxer shorts embroidered with the message "Je me tâte" ("I'm testing myself"), announced the club on 02/11/2023.

"With a largely male community, LOSC Lille wants to fulfil and assume its role as a promoter and influencer for this cause. The Hauts-de-France region has one of the highest rates of cancer in France. Testicular cancer is particularly common in young men, aged between 18 and 35. Raising awareness of testicular cancer through self-examination is therefore a key element in its prevention," explained the French club.

"This collectable product, packaged in a limited edition box (and available in official LOSC shops), can be bought for oneself or given as a gift to friends and family, providing an opportunity to open up a discussion on the subject. It is…
