France: four sports ambassadors take part in a campaign to promote the country internationally

Footballer Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain, Ligue 1 Uber Eats), rugby player Antoine Dupont (Stade Toulousain, Top 14), basketball player Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs, NBA) and disabled athlete Marie-Amélie Le Fur are the four French sportspeople chosen to embody the "Choose France" communications campaign launched by the French government in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games on 30/10/2023.

The campaign, which aims to boost France's international appeal, will be "widely distributed in France and on every continent during the Olympic and Paralympic year," said Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, French Minister for Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, on 05/11/2023.

The ambassadors also include astronaut Thomas Pesquet, the Olympic Torch Relay and patron of the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Week, as well as historic monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Mont Saint-Michel and Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
