Paris 2024: Accor (hotels) strengthens partnership & becomes the 7^th premium partner of the Games

Accor, a French hotel group, has strengthened its partnership with Paris 2024 and moved from the rank of official partner (2^nd level) to that of premium partner (1^st level) in the domestic sponsorship programme of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, News Tank learned from COJOP on 06/11/2023.

This change makes the group based in Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine) the seventh premium partner of the JOP, along with, in order of announcement:
• Groupe BPCE (banking), since 13/09/2018
• EDF (electricity producer and supplier), since 18/11/2019
• Orange (telecommunications), since 01/10/2020
• Sanofi (pharmaceutical group), since 13/07/2021
• Carrefour (retail), since 22/06/2022
• LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (luxury goods), since 24/07/2023

This level of partnership implies an estimated financial commitment of between €100 and €150m, compared with an estimated amount of between €15 and €20m for each of the 13 official partners known to date. 36 official supporters (endowments and/or provision of services) complete the Paris 2024 sponsorship programme, which therefore includes 56…
