AS Monaco FC: a record 5,000 amateur licensees invited to the Stade Louis-II on Sunday 05/11/2023

A record number of "almost 5,000 young licence-holders from the region, including 500 Italians", were present at the Stade Louis-II (Monaco, 17,000 capacity) as part of the "Tous au stade" operation organised for the reception of Stade Brestois 29 (2-0, Matchdy 11 of the 2023-24 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season) on Sunday 05/11/2023, announced AS Monaco FC on 07/11/2023.

The initiative, which is usually repeated twice a season, involves inviting "all licence-holders from the Mediterranean League, the Côte d'Azur District and neighbouring Italian clubs to come and cheer on the players from the Rock, free of charge," according to the Principality's club. Each licence-holder taking part in the operation may be accompanied by two people of his or her choice.

"Drawn from over 70 amateur clubs, most of them based in the Alpes-Maritimes (Villeneuve-Loubet Football, JS Juan-les-Pins, US Pégomas, SC Mouans-Sartoux, etc.) or the Var (FC Pays de Fayence, Olympique Saint Maximin, FC Pugétois, Sporting Club Draguignan, etc.), some were regulars at the stadium (US Cap-d'Ail, AS Roquebrune-Cap-Martin…
