UEFA Women's Champions League: group stage to be broadcast free of charge in several territories

DAZN will broadcast the entire 2023-24 UEFA Women's Champions League group stage (a total of 48 matches) free of charge on its dedicated "DAZN Women's Football" YouTube channel in the UK and "other global territories" (excluding China and MENA), announced the OTT sports platform on 07/11/2023.

"Some games will be restricted from YouTube in France, Germany, and Spain. Initially fans will be able to watch the UWCL group stage up to and including Matchday 4 on DAZN's YouTube channel, with coverage then moving to the DAZN app and platforms into a freemium environment," explained DAZN.

DAZN acquired the global broadcasting rights (excluding MENA and China) to the UEFA Women's Champions League for the 2021-2025 cycle on 30/06/2021. DAZN has also partnered with YouTube to broadcast the competition free of charge across all territories covered. On the basis of this agreement, fans were able to watch all 61 matches (from the group stage onwards) of the competition live and on-demand on DAZN and free of charge on DAZN's YouTube channel for the first two seasons (2021-2023).
