FC Barcelona: launch of the "Barça Games" video game platform in April 2024

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) will launch the "Barça Games" video games platform, in collaboration with Spanish-American production studio Mas Ros MEdia and Argentine esports organisation FireSPORTS, in April 2024, announced the club on 08/11/2023.

The platform will be "the first video game platform in the world created by sports club." The Catalan club's aim is to "create digital content for entertainment, together with the mission to approach new audiences and reach new generations of fans."

"In the next few months there will be announcement and events that will give an indication of the reach of the project that unites traditional sport with gaming and sports. The various activities that will be on offer to users on the platform:
• Listening to music on Spotify,
• playing their favourite video games
• taking part in tournaments
• socialising with other fans,
• access to an exclusive store to buy Barça Games t-shirts as well as tickets for concerts and sporting events.
