LFP: French football ecosystem mobilised in support of the "Bleuet de France"

The entire professional football ecosystem is rallying to support the Bleuet de France (a cornflower, symbol of memory for, and solidarity with, veterans, victims of war, widows, and orphans, like the Commonwealth remembrance poppy) through a national campaign, for the sixth year running, announced the LFP on 09/11/2023.

"On this weekend commemorating 11 November (the anniversary of the armistice of 11/11/1918 which put an end to the First World War), the Ligue de Football Professionnel, Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT clubs are mobilising in support of Bleuet de France to help the families of victims of war and terrorist attacks" on Matchday 12 of the top flight (Friday 10 to Sunday 12/11) and Matchday 14 of Ligue 2 (Saturday 11/11).

From Friday 10/11 and throughout the weekend, all the shirts will be emblazoned with the Bleuet de France "to pay tribute to those who gave their all for France". Players and coaches, as well as those on the pitch or in the stands (club managers and staff, video assistants, journalists in the stands, broadcasters and TV commentators), will be wearing…
